Philip Gimmack - Leadership coach
Ah... the beauty of 20/20 hindsight. Do you ever find yourself saying "I wish I had..." or "wish I hadn't"?
As a younger man I didn't know what I wanted from life and at school just went along with what was, kindly suggested was, in 'my best interests'.
At sixteen this was to play to my academic strengths. There wasn't any discussion about the real me
or my passion and interest for helping others and humanistic psychology.
Sure I went on to get a good finance degree but I was no accountant.
I never looked at how suited I was. It probably seemed the easy option, with some peer pressure and fear thrown in. What there was, was a lack of discussion and a general sense of
un-knowing about myself.
So years later I was 'nearly' an accountant and realised that I hated what I was doing. It simply wasn't 'me'.
The bubble of denial I was living in finally burst.
So, I then started to re-discover the 'younger me' of sixteen. Whilst working as a successful business consultant in IT , I also started studying psychology and went on to study hypnotherapy.
My personal experience re-inforced my interest in helping people to find what they love to do.
You have special qualities which are unique to you. Don't you deserve to uncover and nurture them?
Do you know your true potential? Don't deprive yourself and the world of 'your best'.
Change can seem a little daunting but you don't have to make drastic life changes to acheive improvements...but it does need you to take a fresh look at you and your life or work. This is where I come in. I'll help you discover the transformative power of coaching techniques and show you how coaching works. It's based on sound principles of success that really work. It's very action-oriented and you'll learn about yourself at the same time.
